How do I install my picture rails?
The Top Rail, Classic and Classic+ picture rail ranges are
pre-drilled rails that screw directly into the wall.
The “Click” ranges are installed using
fixing clips screwed into the wall. Once screwed in, the rails clip into place
to the bindings.
The rails adapt to all types of walls, provided
to adapt the screws and dowels. The screws and dowels supplied via our site
are multi-material (work for hollow and solid walls).
Is it easy to install the picture rails?

The XPO rail is particularly well-suited to this type of project. The XPO picture rail is ideal for hanging in shop/store windows, for example, for double-sided hanging.
The Display-it LED kit also includes a rail that attaches to the ceiling. The rail allows backlit panels to be hung in a display case for a clear presentation of the desired information.
Can you paint the picture rails?
Most ranges of picture rails have a so-called "raw to paint" or "white to paint" finish which allows you to paint the picture rail in the color of your interior.
This finish is available in the Contour, Mini-Click, Click, Click+, Click Pro, Click Up, Classic, Gallery Click and Museum ranges.
Can the picture rails be cut?
All the picture rails offered on our site are in
aluminum. Using a hacksaw (small teeth), it is easy to adapt
the rails according to the desired dimensions.
If I come to the store, can I leave with my picture rails?
All picture rails are available in our Paris 15th arrondissement store. Once you've made your selection with the help of one of our advisors, you'll be able to leave directly with your rails and the accompanying accessories.
Delivery is also possible after an in-store purchase.
Are the hanging products heavy/bulky to transport?
No, absolutely not, a
average order consisting of 10ml of 200cm rails + 10 perlon wires + 10 hooks
+ installation accessories, weighs only about 2kg and will be wrapped in film

How do I light my paintings?
The Combi Rail ProLight picture rail is the all-in-one solution! It allows you to hang your artwork, like the Click models, as well as provide lighting using fixtures that fit into the rail.
The other solutions are
independent of the picture rails.
The U-Rail electric rail range
de Paulmann will offer you the possibility of illuminating the paintings installed in the
means of directional spotlights. These rails also allow spotlights to be fixed
mood lights that will brighten up your room.
We also offer
wall lights.
Are there soft/flexible picture rails?
The picture rails we offer are two-meter lengths of aluminum and are therefore not flexible. If you want to install picture rails on a wall with a curve, you will need to opt for ceiling rails.
Can picture rails be installed on stairs? Picture rails installed at an angle?
Wall-mounted picture rails can be installed on a staircase. The essential accessory for installing rails at an angle is the Railstopper Kit (compatible only with models in the "Click rail" range). This kit consists of a wire, a picture hook, and a locking sleeve to be inserted directly into the rail. The latter will lock the wire and prevent it from sliding along the rail.
Are the picture rails guaranteed?
Yes, Artiteq brand products are guaranteed for 5 years by the manufacturer. This warranty applies, of course, to the extent that the products are used properly and comply with their stated technical specifications.
Can the picture rails be removed once installed?
Picture rails are not designed to be removed and reinstalled. The rails are designed to support a certain weight (minimum 20 kg), so the fixings are not easily removed. If you still want to uninstall them, this could damage your wall as well as the rail (which may no longer be usable afterward).
